Indeed - and that's why I queried this ... I don't class 105 posts as being particularly high, hence "low". ;)

And just to confuse matters slightly more - there are some people with relatively low current post counts that actually have far higher post counts in reality and can be very helpful in these matters !

POPLA appeals examples,. you can write it yourself like most newbies do once they get the bit between their teeth and see what's needed:

HTH, don't know why the link didn't work but I have tweaked it now.

Sorry guys, I have just realised this rejection letter they have sent is in my mothers name still, even though when she appealed it she told them i was the driver at the time. Having spoken to her she doesn't want to bother using the POPLA code to appeal and just wants to ignore them...

    What should i do?

Complain to popla I think would be the thing to do. Once notified of the driver it's a breach of pofa 2012 to still pursue the RK of the vehicle. I dont think this should be ignored IMO

Tell her that would be the stupidest decision seeing as we win 100% of POPLA appeals. And Excel occasionally try small claims so they are not completely tame.

    Or

Do the POPLA appeal yourself seeing as there's a code. ANYONE can do the POPLA appeal, so tell her you will do the POPLA appeal in your name.

And one of the appeal points would be that the driver has been named, but Excel has ignored this and still are pursuing the RK of the vehicle. They can't deny they have received the letter as they rejected the challenge and sent out the popla code contrary to the BPA Code of Practice as they must pursue the driver once named.

Not been in for a few days so just seen this, you are right to challenge regarding my PM ask, it was public so others could see.

I agree not many posts here but over 2,000 on Pepipoo.

Whilst the strategy and defence is "off forum" the results and detail will be posted on completion, why help PPC's ?

As an alternative you can offer to assist the OP yourself if you want to be kept in the loop.
