Wonder if somebody can give me advise on my rights with faulty mobile handset. Bought Galaxy Ace from Virgin last november and paid for it outright with sim only monthly contract. Have had endless problems with the phone since then. Firstly the sim card died so they sent me out a new one, this one also failed so a third one was sent, this one has worked. Then my card reader failed so I could not take or view my photos on my phone.
The phone was sent for repair came back fixed but not my charger in package, another one with for some reasonthe plug cut off.
Anyhow some 6 weeks later same problem has occurred again. Virgin are telling me that the phone will have to be sent back again for repair. I have argued that I should get a replacement as the phone has already been repaired once. I have spent endless time on the phone to them over this handset, do I have any rights to demand a new handset.
Thanks for any advice you can give

No. You are 8 months down the line, you are entitled to a working handset under SOGA, but not a new replacement. After three unsuccessful attempts, you may find they will do so as a goodwill gesture, but only then.0

Changes are coming to stop endless repairs, but they are not in force yet:
