No 4G in my area sl it will be 6 months onwards, looking for the best phone that holds the signal exceptionally well, Sony Xperia SP is a great mobile but I get a much better signal with a £90 Blackberry Curve 9320 in the same locations. I am without signal 50% of the time. No data most of the time. Then No Service.

Secondary with a removable battery would be more preferable.

Experiences of EE4G phones, Nokia always seem good over the decades.

Anyone think the radio hardware in Xperia SP and Z are different and better in higher models? Same applying to Nokia 820/920 ?

Dont really want iphone5 or Huawei Ascent but if their are good reports will consider such.

Thankyou in advance :)

My Lumia 920 typically has 1 bar better signal on the same network than my partner's iPhone 5.

I do have 1 issue where it sometimes loses signal and I can't get it to come back unless I restart or phone my own number, strange glitch I think. It also sometimes for a period fails to pick up 3G, instead picking up E or G. This problem fixes itself quickly though.

I'd recommend the Lumia 920 if your budget stretches, it's a great phone.
