How do I switch broadband providers ?

Options
Hi all

With 02 at the moment. As you know, they've given full reigns to Sky.

I prefer PlusNet to be honest. I'm also out of contract with 02. Can someone tell me exactly how I can switch over to another ISP ?

Will 02 pass on the MAC to my new ISP ? - or will I have to do it ?

And what about payment set-up to the new provider ? - as well as currently paying 02 ?

Thanks in advance.

This is a simple procedure. If you go to the plusnet web site (via Quidco to get £38 cashback) On the right of the main page it will explain the whole procedure. "You" have to request your MAC code form your current provider which lasts 30 days and can pass it on to your new provider. I am not a PlusNet employee but a customer just using this easy process. I have also been able to pay for my rental on an annual basis saving a further £33. Go for it

Firstly ring O2 and get your MAC code.
Then go to Plusnet via quidco or TCB.
Do you order online, part way through it will ask you for your MAC code.

I did the exact same yesterday.
