Hi
My partner used my car to get to work one day and parked in the total parking Solutions managed Health Authority car park but forgot to display the permit which she pays for through her salary monthly.
Was issued a parking charge for not displaying a valid permit. As no one is out of pocket (as the parking is already paid for through deductions) should I continue to ignore these speculative invoices from DRP the latest of which indicates Notice of Intended Court Action.0 -
TPS don't tend to take people to court and DRP are just a toothless Debt Recovery firm so you are probably safe to ignore unless you get a Letter Before County Court from TPS or Court Papers issued.
But this would have been very easy to deal with at the time and you could have got it cancelled - don't ignore any other Private Parking Invoices -
read the NEWBIES sticky thread - 1st thread on main page - for further advice about the debt collector stage see post #4 of that thread.
You can also search the forum for DRP or TPS (only look threads < 6mths old )

I have a letter from smallclaimssolicitors.co.uk threatening me.
I had to phone and give my new address because they were going to my mothers address. Does this make it more likely they will be taking mine further?0 -
