These scammers exist, because people fall for it. Quite a few threads about these type of scammers, although pleased to say not many this year.
Basically most are based in India, even if they have some UK details, that is why the UK authrorities can't do a lot about them.
Seen people posts on the loan boards about making that first payment.
Then seen people post they have made a second payment after they have rung up asking for more money due to an a document release fee or similar. Then some people have been so gullable to make a further payment due to some other trumped up fee or other.
It beats me, that people looking for a loan, can afford the £500 + that some of them have paid, before wising up.
The only sort of loan those with bad credit MAY BE accepted for are payday loans, doorstep loans, or loans with high APR such as those that require a guarantee from companies like Amigo or those with sky high APR over a year or two, from companies such as Oakham & Pounds to Pocket.0 -

I agree, their website is terrible and the spelling and grammer is awful. The picture of the people round the boardroom table even seems to have been lifted from somewhere else!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670

Giving money by cash (Cash Cards, Western Union etc for example) for a supposedly official purpose is extremely foolish. It shows basic lack of awareness even among the educated native citizens, not just immigrants.0
