Hi sorry about making another thread as there are other available about them, but thought it might be easier.
I got the form from them, which I didn't ask for, but was sent by them.
I am going to fill the form in, but there are certain parts I'm not sure about.
I've had 2 loans with them and they were between 5-8 years ago and the last one was paid off 3 years ago.
So I'm not sure therefore about any loan account number, also some questions I can't give a definite answer. For instance how long was I with my employer before taking the loan. I can't give an exact length of time I was with them, partly because I don't know which loan it refers to.
Does it matter if you can't fill all the questions in?
I'm 99.9% I did have PPI with the loans.
Any advice, thanks.

Just put in what you can remember. If you want to be doubly sure about when and where you had the loans, you could send a SAR and £10, but you'll be waiting the few weeks for them to supply ti because they usually interpret the SAR wrongly as a Section 78 request.
You might as well just fill it in tot he best of your knowledge, and if you don't know something, then just say you don't know.
They are proactively contacting people, and they were fined between certain times for selling in certain ways, if you have a google, you might be able to see if any of the dates match the time you took the loans out.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Thanks very much, I'm just going to fill it in then.
TBH, I wasn't going to claim for any PPI, as generally I have accepted it when applying for loans/cards in the past. So anything is a bonus, if it's a no, I haven't lost anything, but 5 mins filling in the form.
I'll be sure to update the thread, when I hear the final decision.0 -
Just bumping up incase anyone else has sent the form off.
I've got the acknowledgement letter they have received my forms back, so just under 2 weeks from when I sent it.
As I said before, I'll update the thread as I receive any more letters from them.0 -
Received my outcome letter today, so pretty quick.
They say they are refunding all premiums plus 8% the difference in payments or something similar, plus another 8% interest.
Total £500
Said upto 20 days for a cheque to be sent.
I can't remember fully how much the loan was for as I said I had 2 with them, but pretty sure it was either for £2000 or £3000 over 2 or 3 years.
Still £500 I wasn't expecting and wouldn't have claimed if they hadn't of sent the claim form to me.0 -
Hi
I'm about to start the same preceedure with an Egg credit card and loan. Did you have the account numbers when you sent off the forms?
Thanks

Are these offers for both loans? you need to ask them for a breakdown of this offer to check this.Received my outcome letter today, so pretty quick.

Hi sorry only just saw your replies. I wasn't sure which loan it was for, so I didn't put any account number on the form.
I just did what was suggested by -taff- above and put as much detail as possible.
I assume it is for one loan, because only one account number is showing.
It never mentioned multiple loans in any correspondence.
I have received another letter today to say they have received my acceptance form and the cheque will be issued within 20 working days.0 -
I received my cheque yesterday and I have now received another claim form from them, which must be for my other loan I had with them.
I had a credit card with them as well, so I guess I might end up getting a form for that as well.0 -

It took them 4 weeks to deal with my claim..from receiving my complaint to sending my cheque!! :j i was very happy
now i have also received another form from them regarding a loan that i dont even remember!!
If you still have your credit card details just fill in the form from this forum and send it...i wouldnt wait for them to contact you.0 -
I was in the same situation...
They sent me a form and tracked me down, i didn't have any account numbers but i filled in the form anyway and they found the loan agreement numbers and offered me a settlement. My advice is just fill in the form as best as possible.
As regards to the Egg CC i had one of them too but i am told i have to claim this with BarclayCard who took over Egg.0
