TalkTalkBusiness astound me - again

Options
I am a Talk Talk Business customer who has been astounded by the incompetence of TTB
They appear not to have the slightest clue about billing
To start with - to compensate me for earlier mistakes - I was offered a complimentary internet service for 12 months - this meant (as far as I was concerned) that it would only cost me £13.95 + vat for my broadband and phone line from 09/12/12 to 09/12/13 - they had already offered me free unlimited off peak calls (because of a previous problem) - so I expected a billing of a max of £17 per month) - we very rarely make on-peak calls

My bills have averaged £27 per month - but in addition to this - according to TTB - They made a payment to me of £17.62 in April - whereas as far as my bank account is concerned - I was actually charged £28.31
I have repeatedly informed them of this and just get passed from person to person - being told that my account is up to date - when it CLEARLY IS NOT !!
Any suggestions ?

I don't know about TT but with many companies threatening to leave gets you through to the retentions department who usually have more than a single brain cell shared by the department and can get issues sorted out. If you take that route you have to be prepared to actually leave and go elsewhere of course. If you baulk at that because of price then maybe you'll need to put up with poor service.

It is not that the service is that bad - it is their appalling admin and as for billing - when a company informs you that they are making a rebate of £17.62 and instead TAKE £28.31 from my bank account - and when I complain and are passed from dept to dept/person to person - then finally - When I receive an email - apologising, but telling me that my account is up to date and I owe THEM nothing !!
SORRY - NO IT IS NOT - TTB OWES ME ABOUT £50
I have asked them to raise it a notch in their complaints level
Have they ? What do you think ?

Anyone thinking of changing ISP to TalkTalkBusiness is advised to think very carefully before considering doing it.....

Why are you with TT BUSINESS? Are you running a business and need the "enhanced" (quotes used deliberately) service level in case of faults?

No - I am a private home - I started with (the excellent) Nildram - almost 10 years ago, they were taken over by Opal - who in turn were taken over by TTB
But that is nothing to do with this issue - TTB owe me money but I can't get this through to them....

I have received a total blank from Customer Dis-services & corporate@talktalkbusiness.co.uk- so have asked for my latest email to be forwarded on to retentions - do you know if TTB uses TT's retention department or do they have their own ?

Talktalk don't appear to be covered by CISAS (they don't appear on the list)
Should I go straight to OFCOM ?

Try an email to the CEO - many companies maintain a CEO office specifically to handle complaints (I've used both BT and VM CEO offices in the past).

    huh? since when was c e o e m a i l . c o m blocked by the profanity filter

If that fails and you have the documents to back up your claim send them a registered letter demanding payment within 14 days and informing them that you will be taking out a small claims court action if they don't comply - I used that threat just in an email years back with an ISP (Eclipse) who kept talking random amounts from my credit card after I terminated a supposed free trial and it worked a treat.

Thanks - sent an email to TT CEO (Dido Harding) - received back a response almost straight away - and this was followed by an update from High Level Resolutions - promising to investigate fully - I gave her a cut off date of Friday, before I bring in the regulator
So - fingers crossed - I will get answers before Friday >>

I wish that Tmobile/EE were as professional....

    Cancel your contract.

Talk Talk are the Anti Christ of good business sense. This is the whole of the company from the Londons main offices where Dido harding and her sidekick works from to,

Derek i cant read plain English Morrison in Southampton.
They are all unable to collate sequences of events at all and then expect people who have a brain to roll over for them like dogs.

I kid you not. Put them out of your mind and wipe your backside on their letters trying to con you out of your hard earned cash.
They are rotten to the core and full of !!!!!!!!.:D

I do really wonder if anyone has died because of their lack of respect for people subjected to their harrassment.
