Open your file explorer, open the picture folder, drag and drop your picture into it.

From desk top, Mouse bottom left, right click, are you enjoying windows8?
Get yourself classic start or classic she'll from the app store.

To be honest I won't use my laptop for anything else other than being on line & uploading pictures & short videos so if I can work this bit out then I am sorted.....

    OH MY GOD!!!!

I have now really worried myself as I have now figured out how to put all my music from my SD card onto this laptop, while my music is still on the SD card Whooop

    And it gets better!

I have also worked out how to put the pictures from my sd card onto my laptop too!!!!

So here is the picture of my cracked laptop lid. I warn you it's bad!

    Image0209_zps7bdf29ef.jpg

It started off as a very tiny crack but then became this. I swear I did not miss treat it at all, always opened the lid with two hands & never picked it up by the lid

She cracked a little so the lid would not move, I put cooking oil on the hinge & she worked fine, but started to get stiff again & the cooking oil did not do the trick, then I put the computer down on the floor quickly as the door bell went & found it completely flat out & when I gently lifted the lid I found this!

can't really tell from that, but tighten hinge screws or replace hinge, and glue bezel might fix it.

    Ok

    Thank You

That will be tomorrows job then, Will see what I can do, if not will find someone local & see what they think & how much they will charge.

So I now just need to wait for my discs to come to make the recovery discs & run the back up program you linked for me, & I can also back up to the click free hard disc drive thing that's if it's compatible with windows 8 & that means I am backed up in two places.

Then order the 3 year warranty & I think by god I'm done!

(as long as I can understand the back up program & recovery discs procedure)

Thank You So Much Everyone For All Your Help. It really is appreciated I was in a complete mess & thanks to everyone who has helped me I can see the other side now

My laptop really is my lifeline to the outside world

    THANK YOU ALL

    xxx

Why is Norton an awful package? When did you last use it?
