Winners from puzzle magazines?

Hi,

Apologies if this isn't where I'm supposed to post this question but I was just wondering if there are many winners on here from the puzzle magazines like Take a Break and Chat etc? I've only been comping a few months and REALLY appreciate all the input from the lovely posters on here. I've seen quite a few winners from ITV comps, particularly Real Deal post in the "I won!" thread but I don't recall seeing anyone post to say they won money from the magazine puzzle comps.

Have there not been any/many winners from here or am I just missing those posts?

There are a few on here but sometimes, searching on the magazine in IWIWIW doesn't produce the results. You can also try searching for "LWE" to see some winners.

& I've had pm's from peeps who don't wish to post their wins in the IWIW for personal reasons that have won,
some of them the high prize value ones,
some peeps prefer to just pm the op especially if it's a high value money win & they don't wish for reasons for it to be known,
& i've won money from majority of the mags,

Very helpful - thanks! I've found some winning threads now - it renews my faith to read about the winners haha.

I appreciate that my chances of winning are very small but they're better now than they were before I started comping! :rotfl:

I regularly see posts in IWIWIW from people who've won say £100 or £200 from the weekly puzzles in the likes of That's Life, Take A Break etc etc.
What I very rarely see is 1) people winning the really big prizes from those mags (they often run £3000 / £10000 cash comps but have yet to see anyone from here win one) and 2) anyone ever winning from the Puzzler mags or the monthly Take A Break puzzles which all seem to run quite big prizes. Anyone ever win any of these??
