you only have two options 3 if you count returning the phone, either you have to go to an independant phone store, some where that sells second hand phones and does repairs and ask them to open the phone to any network normaly £5-£10 or give O2 a call and ask them for the network code to unlatch your mobile you may have to pay or have a long wait to recieve this though0

It means that the phone is locked to the O2 network. You cannot use the Vodafone PAYG card in there.

One tip for the future - a lot of online retailers sell phones that are not restricted to networks. Hi, I've just bought a nokia 6111 (£69.99 from woolies) on an o2 network but I wanna keep my vodafone pay as you go sim. When I put my old sim in it just says 'phone restricted', help me someone - please! :mad:
