hi i am just looking for some advise on my situation. In 2010 i purchased a 32" sony lcd tv from JL for £400. It has now developed an intermittent fault where by it randomly turns off and the menus on screen freeze then the TV restarts. JL have sent someone out to look at it and couldn't find a fault. it was then sent away…

It is unrealistic to expect old technology to be on new TVs so why can't you use a HDMI splitter or Scart splitter.

You belief is incorrect, the terms are "item of equivalent specification". However, if no such thing exists that can offer an alternative solution.
