Pets (dogs) on planes, whats the deal?

I didn't mean to put 'very' there, think it is just more common. Not sure what would happen, I guess they could move you or the pet away, if the plane is big would it be a problem?

Tbh I don't think people have allergies as severe as you. I am allergic to cat hair, but it comes on like hayfever, not very pleasant, and I would be asking to move etc, but it wouldn't do me any harm.

I have no idea! Try asking on trip advisor? Or ask the airline?

I don't know if it is because I have asthma too so I basically can't breathe when around animals. I do have the hay fevery symptoms too, but accompanied by a bad asthma attack. I have never had to use my Epipen in the case of a reaction to an animal but I suppose I could if I needed to.

I'm sure it will be ok....we are flying to and from Vegas and I suspect that is not the most common route to be taking your doggy with you! And it is a shuttle flight that is quite regular so I guess moving to the next one would probably be possible. I have flown lots (and come to think of it I have done one or two internal US flights) and have never come across it before so I will try not to panic!

You probably have, n haven't even noticed if it was one of those small ratty type dogs in a bag!

They have to fit under the seat, and aren't allowed to run about, so there is a chance that u just haven't noticed if they were the other end of the plane.

Is that talking to me? No, I haven't, but even if I did, I don't just collapse when within 10 metres of a dog :rotfl: it's being in an enclosed space with no fresh air with one that would not be very good.

When we flew out of Berlin last year, while waiting at the gate for our flight, there was a domestic one boarding next to us and every 2nd person had a dog. Some were not particularly small either!
