Tbh I don't think people have allergies as severe as you. I am allergic to cat hair, but it comes on like hayfever, not very pleasant, and I would be asking to move etc, but it wouldn't do me any harm.
I have no idea! Try asking on trip advisor? Or ask the airline?
I don't know if it is because I have asthma too so I basically can't breathe when around animals. I do have the hay fevery symptoms too, but accompanied by a bad asthma attack. I have never had to use my Epipen in the case of a reaction to an animal but I suppose I could if I needed to.
I'm sure it will be ok....we are flying to and from Vegas and I suspect that is not the most common route to be taking your doggy with you! And it is a shuttle flight that is quite regular so I guess moving to the next one would probably be possible. I have flown lots (and come to think of it I have done one or two internal US flights) and have never come across it before so I will try not to panic!0

You probably have, n haven't even noticed if it was one of those small ratty type dogs in a bag!
They have to fit under the seat, and aren't allowed to run about, so there is a chance that u just haven't noticed if they were the other end of the plane.:T0

When we flew out of Berlin last year, while waiting at the gate for our flight, there was a domestic one boarding next to us and every 2nd person had a dog. Some were not particularly small either!0
