I'm not sure how we have arrived at Thursday? but hey ho, the weekend is round the corner.
I can hear the (wind) and rain outside [again] . :undecided
Woke early this morning (before 5am) and couldn't get back to sleep so gave up in the end and decided to catch up on the interweb instead. I hate those nights where I sleep ok when I go to bed but if I need a bathroom break or get woken by my furry alarm clock then even if its 3am ish, my brain refuses to switch off and I can't get back to sleep.
I think yesterday was the first time in a long time that I have gone home and cried so I am hopeful that today is better. I shouldn't worry or get upset but I always fear the worse and think the world is against me.
Funny enough I haven't done any stitching in a long time but sewed up a jumper yesterday where after just one wear, it split at the side and I felt very relaxed and calm. time to do some proper cross stitching I thought ! meanwhile ha ha when I went to put the jumper on, I've put on weight and it didn't fit :rotfl:
Have a good day all x0 -
Hugs to everyone that needs them, it's good that we feel able to share good news and bad on here.

Hello everyone It feels like I haven't posted in ages so lots to catch up on
FE Sorry to hear of your sink troubles. I haven't been able to find a UK supplier for The Stitching Bear
Thanks for the book recommendation - not an author I knew so have "invested" 59p
Hope you are feeling more upbeat and will be able to locate your stitching bug again soon
ems looking forward to seeing your vintage sampler
chicky and mrsceejay I'm another huge fan of the Ursula Michaels word designs and I love the way you can pay and instantly download her charts. I stitched Let's Sew last year and I must do something with it - it's currently languishing in my finished pieces drawer and it deserves better treatment than that (she says modestly :rotfl: )
louise pleased to hear you are back home and I hope you get a diagnosis soon which will lead to effective treatment.
Did you see the article in the latest issue of Cross Stitch Crazy about 10 ways to tell you are addicted to XS? I reckon everyone in the cafe has at least one of the symptoms. I am certainly in the category of planning next Christmas's stitched decorations as I look at this year's and also agree that the perfect day off is a new XS mag and hours of uninterrupted stitching. I thought of you when I read the one about having XS cards for every occasion and there should be another one - insisting on being able to collect stitching supplies before being admitted to hospital. Love your African stitch and you've made great progress - I'm sure you got lots of interest from staff and patients0 -
