    well done miss stilty :).

we did our tour of the local outdoor xmas decs on friday, think it was a bit early, some of the really keen ones who never take them down (dd calls one of them the gingerbread house) had switched their's on, but a number of houses were still building their festive outdoor lighting extravaganzas. I daren't think about the electric bills!

I'd like just one set of white lights on the bay tree, or around the door, to welcome us home in the dark, but I think getting the light in the hall working is the funding priority :)
    :AA/give up smoking (done) :)

SQ - our collection is a motley sort which began the year my grandad died and on his death bed in his last few sentences he whispers - I want your kids to have my Christmas stuff!! He used to have his house covered in stuff inside and some outside as well, and I was mortified at the time as we were very much a tree in the corner and no more type household. But that following Christmas I just had to use his stuff and its grown from there into the monstrosity it is now :) BUt the kids do enjoy it and we do have people stop to have a look at our decorations each year! Pics are on Fb if you want a nosy :)

ETA - I booked a cleaning firm today!! Whoopee!!! They have given me a special offer and I will pay £28 for two cleaners for two hours for a few weeks while I see what they are like. :)

Thanks monnagran and kidcat for sharing those nativities - wonderfully memorable, special and original.

I haven't experienced any quite as colourful but last year our school nursery and reception did theirs and a little lad took to hurling himself off the stage trying to land on top of the sheep below.

DS7 is Joseph this year and I hope he will cope ok with it. He loves singing and is one of the few children who learns all the words and sings loudly (has a good voice too) so I think he is chosen mostly for that reason. He was also Joseph in reception and I remember the pile of gifts kept sliding off his lap so Mary kept putting them back on his lap for the same thing to happen again... and again.... and again :rotfl:

I'm absolutely drained today and petrified.

I recieved a letter off the council saying they starting possesiin for my home. I phoned up shaking and burst out crying. Its because I owe two months rent which I've been slowing paying it off but because
Im a new tenant its automatic.

I've sent a letter explaining why I havent paid it off, of how I was ripped off by my supposed friend. Told them about my mental health and things and how im going to pay the debt off.
Tried asking for a loan of the bank but they rejected me.
I've sent the paperwork in so hopefully they should recieve it monday. Said on the letter I have 14 days to pay £950 or face immediate eviction.

Just hope the panel find us in they favour and that they believe I will pay I've got £50 to pay extra tomorow so fingers crossed it will show in a, good light.

Told my dad we could be moving in with him, he, thought I was joking. Til he, raised I was being serous

Oh Kez - so sorry to hear this, hoping that the council can find some compassion and see that you are doing your best after being ripped off.

    Big hugs X

Its my own stupid fault for trusting people and I've said as such in, the, letter. Said, I've taken full responsibility. The woman on the phone said, they should, look in my, favour but to be honest I can't see it happening. My luck is nonexistent at the moment.

I'm going to have tell OH tomorow, hes going to be so angry. But what I can do. I'm also seeing gp about medication tomorow and, ask for a referal tp a psychatrist. Then off to CAB to seek advice about thr debt I'm in. may have to face a dro.

I will tel oh its just as soon as hes eaten hes fell asleep straight away and couldn't wake him up.

We, havent been out today just stayed in and watched christmas films with kids.

    Thanks stiltwalker x

Love the, idea of the greenery fuddle and, the decs are, fab kidcat

Oh kez, I don't have much advice other than to contact SHELTER tomorrow for advice? By responding immediately to the letter and explaining your situation and offering a payment (albeit small) is exactly the right thing to do and will be looked on favourably.

Did you write in the letter about your sons and their extra needs as surely that must carry some weight too. Don't forget the letter is an automatic standard one but your case will be looked at individually. And if it goes to court, they will decide if the council can evict you and it doesn't follow that they will. The council can't just evict you without a court hearing (as far as I know.... hope I am right here)

Stay as calm and positive as you can in the meantime. Write down details of any phone conversations you have with the council too. If TSHTF you will at least have somewhere to stay. Sending you huge hugs tonight and please post with any news.

Try and get some sleep tonight
    sq :)

Kez ((hugs)) definitely see the CAB but also contact your carers centre . As SQ says you need to be clear about the boys additional needs and CAMHS etc, a court will look at all circumstances including the damage that could be caused to the boys by an eviction, realistically if they evict you they are still obliged to rehouse you and with both yours and the boys needs it doesnt make any sense to go through with it.
My understanding is that as long as you owe under two months rent at the time of any legal action they cant evict anyway - so if you are able to bring the amount down below that magic number I think you will be ok. But you need proper advice :)
Your GP can help too - take care, I am here if you need to chat :)
