I have a stray who lives here and in another house 2 blocks away but his real owners dumped him, he is happy and well fed thoug. Now I also have a pregnant she cat asleep on the stool but her owner is actually a friend of mine. She is a nice enough woman but has no particular feelings for the cat nad got her for her daughter. The daughter called with Dd's Avon the other night and her son said ' Oh look its Nanna's cat' I then told the girl, I cannot feed her and nor can I cope with kittens so tell your Mum to keep her home as much as possible so she gets the idea - worked for 3 days then she landed here during the storm and has barely left  Im still not feeding her and she is looking ok so must go home for food. Amazingly Dgs has taken to her :eek:Clearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.
I will get my caravan0 -
Gailey,
It may ease your stress to shop online, I have been doing it for years and find it easy to meal plan and stick to a budget. You could buy a few simple gifts too and save you such a lot of time.
It might be good for you to take it a bit easier on all the church services and attendances. It can really take it out of you trying to fit so much in there is very little time for you.
Keeping it simple saves your sanity. LOL.
Hoping something turns up with the cars. Just had a whacking bill myself ouch!!0 -
My ginger tom stray wouldn't come inside, just as far as the back door mat. He would sit there and let me cuddle him and that was it.
Agree re online shopping, I trim and snip and fiddle with the total0 -
We had posters put up about a lost cat near us and the owners came round as someone had reported seeing a black cat in our area, it broke my heart to have to tell them that we have a black cat and it was probably him that had been spotted.
Ginny, I don't understand why some people have animals when they clearly don't care; our eldest cat was 12 when we got her from the RSPCA. She had been with a family since she was a kitten but when the kids move out the parents got rid of her because "we only got her for the kids and we don't want her" :mad:0 -

Good grief, I am no animal lover at all, don't want the responsibility or fuss, but chucking out an elderly cat like that is really low and utterly unfeeling.0 -
Fiftyeighter-Hugs. No-one knows how it hurts and how helpless you feel.
AOT my son will never apogize either because he says it's all my doing. You can't win. jac.xxx0 -
I've got one son who is solid gold, and one son who is very charming and polite but although he stays 20 miles away, never visits or phones. That hurts me so goodness knows what it's like to have an abusive nasty one. xxx0

Morning all.
Sitting having a cuppa whilst OH catches up on some sleep. He is truly shattered with these long shifts he’s doing daily. But grateful that work is there. This time last year it was dead. So its important when work is there to catch up.
I’ve got a chicken piece in the slow cooker ready to go. I’m trying to decide whether its lemon & honey topping or hunters chicken?
AOT: I wanted to share my experience of being a sibling to my brother. He takes everything out on our mum. He has smashed her home up, Threaten her, Made her cry, Made her loved, Even smile. Although we see it as totally wrong and have huge arguments over it, He always comes back and says, He knows he can hurt our mum because she will love him regardless.
It doesn’t make it right, But, Deep down, He is the closes out of all of us with our mum. He would walk over glass bare footed for her. I think the biggest shocker for all of us, Was when he left 2 days after turning 18, To leave for the army. They was completely broken hearted at the station. For a young lad who never cries, It was confusing to see him so hurt having to leave her behind. I think, What I’m trying to say is that, For many, You do hurt the ones to love most. Again, It doesn’t mean its right either. X
Went shopping yesterday. Managed to spend £88 in aldi (some of it MIL) and the entire house is completely full. In hope that we don’t need to do another major shop until January. Then we headed to Icelands, MIL works there, So we went around buying the frozen we needed.
I brought a paper with the £5 off spend, Then MIL had 20% off her staff discount + savings in store, Meant we brought £75 worth of goods for £45.90. Which MIL decided to buy for us.
We are really lucky to have the family support we do.!
Anyways, off to leave feedback for the items brought online. Stay safe all xFuture goals:
Become debt free.

Our big fat tom had a bout 6 houses or 10 houses on the old street! Probably knowing him he had more, even with a collar saying "do not feed" he still never lost any weight.
Right now all three of my cats are in the house, furthest my two black ones stay on the street, while the tabby goes a wandering to the next street over. The tabby, lucy aka scabby cat, is nearly 11 years old and is a proper madam.
The boys are slowly waking, don't think were going anywhere today, was maybe thinking of going over to see santa at the farm in m'bro. But think it will cost at least £30 with travel, entrance fee to the farm and extra to see santa. so unless i can blag a lift off my dad i'll think we'll leave it.
Think it will be clean up and making xmas things today0
