  • Ooh yuck - parsnips. The only veg I can't stand - except when a friend of mine does her 'magic' roasties.

Monnagran - seems we share the taste in wine. Could just manage a large glass now. Shame I've none in the house.

  • Curried parsnip is my favourite, but tomorrow I'm making leek and potato as we have loads of HG leeks.

I havent been on MSE since around 23 Oct, due to having a serious bout of bronchitis which I still have , im on anti biotics, and been bed ridden with it, feel absolute crap as Im supposed to with this, hubby as had to go into nursing care as ive not been able to look after myself let alone him, I come on here today to find bickering, squabbling , arguing.....

Is it all worth it.?, who gains out of play ground tantrums ? We dont always agree with what other posters write or do in their daily lives , but sometimes you just have to ignore it and move on ........

WOW its a true saying , life is very short , and I say just all get along and be thankful you have a life , bury the bickering now and start afresh ..........I had to get up and come on line to check the bank account , so thought id pop in to see you all , I havent been outside since 23 oct, plus no shopping being done so I havent spent no money ............Sheila.....

  • Shegar (I'm another who always thinks of you as Shergar, sorry).

No spend days are supposed to be a good thing. Not the result of being sick in bed.
