I think Tuna smells like cat food and nothing could ever make me eat it!

Our cats agree with you (and so do I). There was some tuna in pouches on sale once (don't know if they're still available) and they were tuna with sauce type things. They felt exactly the same as a cat food pouch.

Very interesting to read about who did or didn't eat pasta. Seems like most of our families were suspicious of 'foreign' food!

I share the association of tinned tuna and cat food. Dh eats tuna, prefers fresh but sometimes has tinned and the cats are always very interested when the tin is opened.

Warm day here again but rather clammy and not very conducive to doing anything. A few more YS buys at Mr T, more of the frozen yoghourt has found it's way into our freezer and dd was happy with the packs of cinnamon whirls that were marked down. Yummy

MrsC, just try it and see. I haven't a clue if it does or doesn't do anything with arthritis. But I find that you have to try things out yourself, cos we all different.

There was someone from cams and someone from another school there but not the whole time this was going on.
I asked if it was normal and was told no.

Just wondering how people use it Mar, it comes as an oil, in capsules and as seed (and flour I think!), so it would be good to know how best to take it. I'm sure I've got something it will cure!

It seems the hemp oil is often added to meals. I have seen examples on line...

Jem what is your local parents partnership like? Do they have a good reputation? If they do I really think it's time to ask them for their support here.
  • Its strange hearing how most of you don’t eat pasta’s / rice…You don’t know what your missing. In fact I had pasta for diner lol

My dad is the same, He HATES anything that’s not straight forward & normal. He worries with foreign foods, that he would get ill….drama queen really.

He always said to us, At least I know what egg & chips is meant to look like.

    Has anyone heard from Kezlou?

  • Hi all
I'm not offering medical advice here, just telling those who have asked about my my SIL's experiences.
My son in law has psoriatic arthritis I'm not sure how hemp would work for standard arthritis, he is in hie early 30 and had to give up the sports he loved. He was on strong medication but the medication was causing liver damage so that had to stopped and restarted depending on his liver function. He originally bought the oil and started applying it to his shins, and the psoriasis cleared up, he then looked into it further, he eats a vegan diet, takes hemp oil capsules and even uses hemp milk on his cereal. It has made a huge difference to him his skin is almost completely clear and his joint pain is practically nonexistent, his liver function is great as he is no longer taking the medication. He did not give up the medication, his Dr prescribes it when SIL has a bad outbreak, but he hasn't had an outbreak for 2 years now.
