My other half moved house around three years ago and has just realised she's still paying a montly direct debit on a tv licence for her old address (doh!)
She's going to cancel the dd but does anyone know if its possible to claim a refund?
Any help/advice much obliged

Quick google shows the following on their website:
"When you cancel your licence, you may be eligible for a refund if one of the above applies to you. You can apply for a refund using our online refund form, up to two years after the expiry date of your licence."0 -
Another warning (if any is needed) that letting a DD run without double-checking validity at least quarterly is really being negligent!0
