Thank you so much all for the input. The house really is lovely and I know I'm being cuckoo. I've calculated that it should take 2 years to pay off the debt which I don't think is too bad, the toughest bit will be ignoring my hormones!!!
Edit: I did the entitled to thing, only £81 a week where I'm on £500-600 ATM.... That is really rough!
Surely earning that amount you can get the debts paid off pretty quick and save some to subsidise your maternity leave? It took us a while to conceive DS but each month we failed was a little more in the savings pot...Bossymoo

I calculated it should take max 2 years. OH has some car finance which I forgot about which will also be gone in two years and I'm helping my dad out £200 a month also for things which would be too long to go into, but that's done next July, so when that's done it'll be funnelled straight onto my card which will blow chunks in it, as well as the £150 a month I am now!
Edit: so really more like 11k with finance((

If you have a few hundred pounds left over a month, then put it ALL on your debt, apart from enough money for one night out a month. Then you'll be living like you will be once you have the baby, so it's not going to be such a shock if/when bubs does arrive on the scene. As you're self emplyed you should also work harder now to make more cash to put away to allow yourself some maternity leave, as it's tough on your body being pregnant asnd recovering from it, without throwing looking after a baby into the equation.

Well we had a big talk about it and DH definitely surprised me! He was more than willing to be a SAHD and in fact really, really up for it. He also wasnt' bothered about the 7k debt and in fact wanted a child ASAP! I'm still rather shocked to be honest. I didn't think it'd be me beating him off with a stick until we have the debt clear!0
