Fed up with having to clean my car every morning

I wonder if anyone can help me, nearly every morning I have to clean my car because of bird poo. We have a big tree overhanging our drive and all the pollum? sticky stuff covers my car and obviuosly there are birds nesting in the tree. I have rung the council and asked them to cut back some branches but they have refused and said that I can do this but the tree is huge maybe 15 to 20ft high Where do I stand

I dont want the tree cut ddown just cut back and I am parking on my drive

I think if council said you can trim it then you need to find someone who can do it and get a quote

Well it seems to me that council won't so you would need to pay or continue as you are. Maybe try ringing council again and see if you get a different answer from someone else just in case.

A couple of old sheets / quilt covers from a jumble sale for a few pence each, stitched together and thrown over the car when you park ? Like one of those proper car covers but a lot cheaper :-)
