Hi these neighbours fit sociopathic profiles by the behaviour you describe. They seem to know that they can actually do anything and make it look like it's you lying etc. And they are provoking you for a reaction.
You must ignore these bullies, and as I and others have said move away from it, for your own health.
Life's just too short to play with this type of idiot.0 -

Thank you midnight.
We're trying everything we can to avoid these people but its very difficult.
It doesnt help the fact the if either of us, relatives, or tradespeople appear outside the front of our house, they just stare nastily over.
It is childish behaviour, when she shouted the F word to my mum I was very angry as all my mum said was hello!!0 -

You would have been better off remaining on good terms with these people ignoring what they are doing and just putting your home on the market.
Now that they know you have a grievance about them they are making your life a misery.
I would have just said I'm moving for job relocation or made up some story.
Are you sure that these neighbours are not just trying to make a living in this unstable economy?0 -
Have the neighbours stayed in the street for years by any chance?
If yes then they think they own the street. And by talking to others in the street they are getting them to take sides against you.
If you had just moved in & started an illegal mobile mechanic & taking over the whole street with cars I am sure someone would have had a word with you by now.
I have came across these type of people before, no respect for other people, as long as they can do as they wish.
I wonder if the tax man knows about his garage business.
Sell up & move away, do not get any more authorities involved. Let the rest of the street put up with them when you move away.

SPELLKASTER has produced several related threads over the last few onths. They may give some context.
Failing to disclose on buyers and sellers form - help please
Can neighbour do this?
Was My Solicitor Negligent - Can I claim?
There are several other similar ones... very, very similar ones, and on 24 Feb, the wise Earl pointed out...The_Earl_of_Streatham wrote: »A complaint that relies on any notion of nuisance is surely going to fall when you are asked, "so tell us Mr SPELLKASTER, how long has this being going on?" Or perhaps that's a typo.
Also this thread seems eerily familiar, you're not the person who in another thread is accusing his neighbour of being Polish in a built-up area, are you?
Just quotin' meself to highlight a string of similar threads here... oh, and the "Other One" that's just been severely edited....
There are at least two other similar UserID's .... but I'll let someone else find them! Worth noting The Earl of Streatham was commenting on the similarity of post back in February!!!0 -
Sounds like OP did not heed any warnings on their previous threads and went ahead and trampled on a neighbours toes. As a result, OP is knee deep in it with said neighbour, with a knock on effect to the neighbourhood.
I imagine the neighbours will be just as happy for OP to move as OP is. My sympathies go towards the next neighbourhood.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Maybe the CCTV pointing at their "illegal" work is what's causing the problem.
If they think you are going to go to the authorities armed with video of them running a business I doubt has been declared then of curse it's going to cause friction between you guys.0
