We want to Sell But Nuisance Neighbour

  • Why is the fact that they are not married relevant?

Whilst I have every sympathy for you, I can't understand why you continue to post the same problem over and over again in different threads - this really doesn't help your situation.

I lived in an area where we had drug dealers and other people inclined to the wrong side of law permanently hanging about. I'd rather have a mobile mechanic for a neighbour any day rather than BMWs with blacked out windows, thumping music and a deal done through the window every 5 mins.

Every story has two sides so have you stopped to think if there is anything you are doing to make them uncomfortable?
I know if my neighbours were watching my every move as I went about my daily business I would be pretty annoyed, which is what you appear to be doing. This could well be what the derogatory comments are to neighbours (but I surmise).

Bottom line is this: if you want to move, get on and do it. They might be as glad to see the back of you as you will be to see the back of them.

OP, Not being nosey, but do you suffer any mental health issues?

Whats that go to do with having a nuisance neighbour?

Its not just me they have a problem with, my other half has had probles with them, and they have been abusive to my mother in the street.

Until I speak with my legal advisers on Monday, we are unsure what to do and the house is not up for sale at the moment until advise is sought.

You seem rather obsessed with this neighbour, which may be the cause of a lot of the problems. (for example) what has his marriage status got to do with anything?

are you looking for legal advice regarding whether you need to declare your 'dispute' with the neighbour?

From your thread title We want to Sell But Nuisance Neighbour and your original post (and the previous threads you have made regarding this issue over the last few motnhs or so) it seems like you just need to move - with or without having to declare.

Get your house ready to sell and put it on the market asap.

OP you say that it has caused problems with other neighbours too.

Quote "People have stopped speaking to us because of her behvaiour."

Have you thought it might be you that is the problem?

I think I need to make it clear that the reason why others have to stopped speaking to use is because when you hear dirogatory comments being made i.e being called a "mongrel", and "she needs fking putting down", its no wonder people stopped speaking to us isn't it.

We are not the ones who are illegaly doing car repairs on the side of the road, and we dont cause problems with parking, infact we keep ourselves to ourselves at the end of the day!!

Well I would not stop speaking to someone even though these things were said about them.

You are all adults but are acting like children in a playground from what you have said.

Maybe it is best you move and start a new life and if it means you have to lose money on the sale, at least you will hopefully have a happier life.

Its not me who is acting childish and I am not the one going around making derogatory remarks.

Even the police have clearly told me its I am not causing the trouble; and I certainly wouldnt have the backing of the local councillor.
