The Internet is a wonderful tool for finding out things. Searching for things on the internet is a skill that you get to master in the end. Sometimes you need a thesaurus to avoid the excretia that search engines produce.

Here it is, dating from Oct 04. I haven't followed any of the links just now to recheck whether my info was worthwhile or relevant. I'm only a bit more tech-savvy than the people I was sending it to, and the forum links will be buried way down by now. Probably, Hoov's site is the place to try. Interested in any feedback from our tech-pundits here on this.Debt_Free_Chick wrote:
If you could, I would find it helpful please. It may also be appropriate to add to the security FAQ sticky thingie at the top of the board.andy wrote:If you guys think this is relevant I'll find the old email
Thanks
edit - expired links removedBefore you delete ZA completely, there's a couple of things I'd like to look at:
1 add DNS servers to trusted zone - ( I'll explain )
2 trial version of ZA Pro av for 30 days

Bridie, in my imperfect understanding I think that if you're about to get a router then this ICS problem will not apply, as each PC will independently manage its own access then.
Zone Alarm Pro is not so expensive anyway; last upgrade offer was £200 -
What did you want adding DFC? If there's anything that should be there please send me a pm.Debt_Free_Chick wrote:If you could, I would find it helpful please. It may also be appropriate to add to the security FAQ sticky thingie at the top of the board. ThanksTorgwen..........
