I had exactly the same M & S wedding cake and this is how I decorated it. Ribbon is organza that I got on the internet and flowers were £1 each from internationale.0

Festooned with a cascade of gorgeous milk or white chocolate sugar-paste roses, this classic three-tiered cake makes a dramatic centrepiece. Presented on an icing-covered board and finished with ganache and a double layer of chocolate-flavoured icing. Available as a chocolate or Madeira cake.
Dimensions: Set of three cakes: (Small (D) 15cm (H) 6.5cm) (Medium (D) 20cm (H) 6.5cm) (Large (D) 25cm (H) 6.5cm) * (D) = Diameter (H) = HeightCHOCOLATE CAKE
A rich chocolate cake filled with milk chocolate ganache.
120 Portions £179
MADEIRA CAKE
All-butter sponge filled with buttercream.
120 Portions £179
It looks georgeous and not bad compared to the other cakes if you want a 3 tired and 120 portions. Would go for the white chocolate rather than the milk chocolate.
If anyone's got a picture of the white version, that would be fab.
Also might sound like a wired question, but does it actualy come like this as a lot of the other are bought in tiers.
thanks for your help0 -
M&S only started doing the new fancy cakes a couple of months ago so you prob wont find someone on here who has already had one. The cake would be three separate tiers and your or your venue would need to stack them

I had that cake at Mr C's dad's wedding. It was divine. Really yummy fudgy chewy icing and sooo moist.
I am gutted they had it because I want it for my wedding!0 -
That's the cake I think we're going to get. It looks gorgeous. Although a friend of mine thinks she knows someone who could do this for about half the price so I'm just waiting to hear what she says before I order.
I'm interested to know how it comes (in tiers or together) as well. I can't imagine it'd be very easy to transport altogether.:smileyhea Proud Mummy of 2 :smileyheaTotally addicted to Boots glitches & the Next sales!0 -
That's the cake i've got for my daughter's wedding which is next Saturday.
She just wants it to be very simple so i've got some pink ribbon to wrap around each layer and a bride and groom figure to go on the top. She also wants the cakes on top of each other with no pillars so i've bought some dowels which I understand are needed (can you tell i'm a novice at this sort of thing? ) , but what i'd like to know , if anyone can tell me , is how long before the wedding day can I put it all together? I don't want to leave it until the last minute , but is there any danger of the layers sinking if I did it too early?Same old same old since 20080
