Take the £50 and spend it.
Then report it to trading standards anyway.

    Spanner in works time...

Would you really want £50 of more toys from a company that leaves needles in them?!?

    Reality :-

No harm done - take the £50

Harm done - take the daily mail route ;)

Birthday presents for kids of family members you don't really like?
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Most toys don't have serial numbers. The needle broke in the stitching process and this was missed. Would you bank the £50 before you could verify your first two points?
They usually have some sort of code to say the date/time they were made, machine they were made on etc...

I used to investigate consumer complaints for a manufacturing company so would use the above info to look for machine faults etc... that could explain any issues.

I'd probably ask for an explanation before banking the £50!

I always investigated consumer complaints first!!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Where is this code? I have half a dozen soft toys and there's no obvious details on the labels?
