Why should other members of staff there possibly feel threatened and unsafe at work. For all they know you may do it again! They probably sacked her to stop it happening again!0

Regarding 1:
You have missed the point of my post which was asking whether there was actually any time which needed to be paid. It sounded to me as though the time which you are claiming is unpaid was actually making up for some other time which had not been worked but had been paid. Have I completely misunderstood the situation?
Regarding 2:
