Hi folks,
Another warm day in NI today, although very humid and sleep will be hard to come by:mad:. I had a busy enough day at work and also managed to accumulate another NSD:). I am therefore able to declare NSD11 for today please:).
I am on the lookout for a new house/apartment to rent, as where I am only has skylights and it is starting to drive me mad! Have an appointment tomorrow to see a 2 bedroom townhouse, although not sure about it as it is only partially furnished:(. I hope everyone is well and coping in the heat and humidity.If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
£2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!0 -

Evening all, damp morning, sunny at lunch, poured down tonight so got wet through walking instead of getting the bus. Decided as soooo wet to remove trousers rather than sit in sopping wet ones...mmm only 40 mins drive home....2 hours later thanks to flood water finally arrived home still partially under dressed, much to surprise of non-paying lodger:oHeadAboveWater wrote: »Hello from not-so-sunny-NI today
What did I do?? Ummmm... Spent money like it was going out of fashion:o:o
But I was on holiday therefore icecream and junk food just have to be consumed:)
Bought myself a bicycle tooI sold my car last year so that's one big expense I don't have every month, so figured I could justify getting myself a good bike. Test ride was about 9 miles last night
And I've lived to tell the tale - bonus!
:D
NSD figures are brilliant this month! Very well done everybody :T
HI Head above, That doesn't sound too naughty, defo need ice-cream when on holiday, its compulsory, perhaps we should have the ice-cream on hols saving pot:rotfl:
Now the bike, different matter, good for hols too and commuting, shopping, getting fit and generally getting about - enjoy and think how much cheaper it is to run than a carMy biking tip is have a means of carrying stuff, rack/basket/ruc-sac so you can use the bike rather than just riding it.
Does seem like we are notching up quite a few NSD this month, anyone done the spreadsheet thingy?
Happy hump day tomorrow
p.s. Thanks Beanie you're welcome

Agreed! Figure we'll likely get a pannier kit of sorts. Either that or a flowery basket up front. To match the glittery tassles on the handlebars obviously (think Phoebe from Friends!) :rotfl:solventsoon wrote: »HAW - don’t beat yourself up about your holiday spends.
