Didn't quite manage one yesterday (the Goddess Chocolate demanded her tribute, mere mortals cannot resist!
) but I'd like to declare today as my 2nd NSD. I've also taken care of the next few days of sacrificial offerings by baking a batch of marshmallow fudge brownies.
Freeby - hope your race for life went well and you managed to stay hydrated.

Evening everyone.
Got my first NSD of July. :j:j:j That's NSD #1
Had a lovely afternoon. Had a family BBQ, little man slept through it. We did manage to keep an eye on the tennis though.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Spendy day yesterday. Day out in York, so train fare (but took my own packed lunch:)). Very busy, the great weather helped obviously, but the city seems to be very popular for hen parties, and also as a venue for a pub crawl for large groups of Geordie lads - was asked several times "Where's the nearest Wetherspoons?", that's obviously the go-to pub for the dedicated and money-conscious drinker.
Spendy day today, too. Needed to get some DIY bits.
Finally, slighty off-topic, but still on the money-saving theme:

Just in case any of you haven't come across this already, a woman who lives on £10 a week for food. Lots of economic yet tasty recipe suggestions eg Brie & Bacon Risotto for 26 pence:)

(thanks to fellow MSEer JemB for the tip)
Hope you all enjoyed the weekend.
