Yay go freeby! Do you have a justgiving page?

Race for life is something my mum does every year and something I should do for her. She has had cancer 3 times & thanks to research beaten it each time. I always try to give money where I can :)

Woohoo GO FREEBY :j:j:j - great cause, both my parents died of cancer, 2 of my close friends are breast cancer survivors, I have another close friend with a type of leukemia, my non paying lodger had surgery for lung cancer last year & his ex-wife :A, had surgery for colon cancer earlier this year (and is doing well thank God) - and I am very grateful for all the advances in medicine which mean that sufferers are diagnosed earlier and treatment is more successful and less awful, so

GO FREEBY- GO FREEBY- GO FREEBY :)

Good afternoon folks from an incredibly hungover Red:o

I had a fantastic night last night with excellent food and wine:)
We had french onion soup to start, followed by a 2nd course of scallops with puy lentils, cassoulet, prune and armagnac tart and cheese to finish:eek:. The food was of course washed down with many bottles of red from Argentina, Australia and Italy:)
Freeby, I hope the run went well:). I hope everyone else is well also. I am going to go out for a walk soon to see if I can shake this hangover off. Have a good day folks. I should have an NSD today, but will wait until later before declaring

Hope the Race for Life went well xx

Sorry for my rather patchy attendance record this month, DN has been duly dispatched home but not before I forked out more spondoolies for a Thames river cruise up in the big smoke on Fri for the three of us - took the boat from Westminster to Greenwich and it was jolly fine. He had a few 'teen' moments with the heat and it being his first time to London but I more or less ignored those and it was a lovely day. However, it's bloomin hard to get NSD with a youngster about - didn't even manage on yesterday as had to pay for airport parking.

i'm going to count Thurs as NSD #2 - I'm prob fiddling my rules a little as I did actually book the tickets for the river cruise that day but it was cheaper (I think) to do them online where they had 50% off than on the day so would have been daft not to,

Hoping to get back on the NSD wagon this week and make up for my poor start to the week. House seems rather quiet without a little person about it now.
