Hi All
Am new to this and wondered if I could get any advice. Broadband should have been connected 14/1/07. Nothing to date. Bought new modem for £80, been on helpline for days, refused help, refused to send engineer, contract runs for another 6 months, told cannot cancel but keep paying for a service not provided since January 07 to November 07. Discovered today cannot dial out from home. Restricted our line. Slowly losing the will to live. Any advice out there please?

You would have to e-mail the CEO's office
cceo@bt.com
Explain what's going on and that should get you some help.
I signed up to BT broadband last week in an attempt to save money.........worse mistake I've EVER made in my life. Not been able to use my connection to do the most basic web browsing as it's THAT slow.
P.S. I can give you a direct phone number through to them too if it will help. (I won't post it here incase I get into trouble but you can PM me)0 -
have you plugged the router in, and configured it?
if they haven't enabled adsl on the line, then clearly you shouldn't be paying for it, and cannot be held to the contract terms.
If they have enabled adsl, and you can't configure the router, post a thread in the techie forumEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
I am with Orange and have been doing so since 2005. I noticed their service is getting bad. I remembered last month or two months ago, they said there is a bright future. I am thinking of changing the ISP but I will hold on till end of September because I beleived there will be a lot of competive among the ISPs.0
