Hi,
Need some advice on this never done it before. Had a blackberry on pay monthly, I've now upgraded and moved to an iPhone.

I want to pass the blackberry onto my sister but she wants to use her PAyg 02 sim. Now the problem- it is locked to vodafone, do I:
A) take to shop and get them to unlock
B) is there a way vodafone can unlock the phone to allow another network to be used in the blackberry?

Thanks for your help
MK

AFAIK, Vodafone do one unlocking p.a. for free for their customers.

However, IIRC, BBs are very easy to unlock and there are many places in the internet doing this for free too.

    Hi MK,

Grumbler is correct in saying that we now provide one unlocking code free of charge per year. Any additional codes would cost £19.99.

This is of course subject to the phone being twelve months old or older. For phones less than twelve months old the above fee applies.

    Thanks,
