Vodafone making it hard to cancel contract

I called up Vodafone yesterday to get a PAC code for one number and to cancel an infrequently used mobile broadband contract.
The first operator said fine and that I would have to wait a few minutes so that he could get me a code. As soon as he put me on hold, I was disconnected by them.
Called up again, going through the menus, explaining the the operator who would transfer me. Second operator says he will look to see if the first guy has actioned my request. Put on hold and.... disconnected.:mad:
Called up again from a landline in case it was my mobile, go through menus, explain to operator who transfers me, blah, blah, put on hold, and disconnected.:mad::mad:
Great service from Vodafone.

If you would like to cancel your mobile broadband connection, you can find the information on how to cancel below. You need to send your disconnection notice to the address with the account information. I recommend you send your letter recorded delivery. Alternatively, call Customer Services and pay the 30 days notice over the phone and at the same time cancelling the contract.
the account name and account number
the invoice address
the mobile broadband number to be terminated
the date of termination
the name of the account owner
Send your letter to:
Disconnections Department
Vodafone UK
The Connection

Hi vikingaero,
This isn't good to see.
If you'd like me to help you further could you email me with your details via the link in our profile here?
All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it'll take you to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me could you also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line?
Once sent you'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?
Kind regards,
Lee
