With the nights starting to draw in by this weekend and winter being well on it's way, where is 'trending' as a fashionable destination this coming frozen season.

Well I'm off to Ascension Island for 12 weeks starting December so that's definitely trending in our house, especially with the missus, who's going to keep the home fires burning - literally0

I'd have a small wager on the following as being popular for this winter for those looking for warmth and sunshine;
On the Up
Thailand (with Thomson introducing direct flights with their new B787)
Dom Rep (good value accommodation plus great improvements with the quality of all-inclusive hotels)
Mexico (seems to be the popular long haul destination of choice for many at the moment)
Egypt ( I'd expect to see quite a few good deals in Sharm and Hurgarda this winter)
Going Down
Goa (hassle and expense of a tourist visa)
Tunisia ( decline continues...)0 -
