So I am waiting on a FTB Halifax offer too, I am also with a mortgage broker and we submitted on the 20th May! All the info was submitted but they needed to validate my address (as they couldnt find it on the system and with my utility bills they still got it wrong when validating it) so this took time and they have finally done the valuation and I got an email today saying its with an underwriter and I will receive an offer in the next 24hrs! So i feel your pain but the light is there eventually! Good luck

So glad to hear that your app is near to completion. I'm still waiting for my valuation which is going be carried out on the 4th of June. How long do you receive the valuation result after they've done the valuation?

    Good luck!

I received the valuation result letter 4 days after the Valuation was done.

Hang in there! The stress will be worth it in the end! :)

I spoke to my MA and they have received my payslip and that was sent to Halifax on Thursday.

The valuation has been booked for 11 July which is quite a long wait and that would be almost 6 weeks from my application :(

I have asked if the valuation can be brought forward but I'm not sure if this will be possible.

So I guess I will have to keep waiting for the yes or no in terms of the offer

I am in the same boat with Halifax, buying in HP3. Now told that Colleys have nothing on their system, nearly two weeks after my offer was accepted! Halifax are going to chase on Mon and get back to me, finally. I have been calling them and in the end said I can't keep taking 30 min sessions out from work nearly every day to try to get through to them! So they are going to call me..

Think it is just a case of them now offering so many mortgages and trying to keep up with the pace - which is a good thing.:)

Hi Lucky13, How is ur app going?

Just received a phone call from Halifax saying my mortgage has been successful and the offer is on it way in the post. I'm so exciting!!

From Valuation to offer: 12 Days

From application to Offer: 1 month

My advise to whoever is still waiting is keep chase otherwise ur file is on the bottom of the queue.

    Good luck to u all!

    Hi JC509

    Congratulations :j

I received my mortgage offer on 3rd July as the valuation was brought forward to 1st July, so from application to offer it took about 6 weeks.

I have exchanged contracts but as its a new bulid I will complete & move in next month :D
