well my MP wants all the correspondence. which is good. They cant just close a complaint without it being resolved properly, no matter how many times they tell me what I need to pay they are skirting over the issue they cant get any money from the other parent. And ignoring my questions/statements about his income/lifestyle and how they are going to properly investigate it.

Lets face it the CSA are expecting me to just roll over and play dead, but i won't , stubbornness is something i can at least afford :rotfl:

The tricky thing is proving the other NRP's income and getting an assessment in place if they're working cash in hand. Obviously if he's nil-assessed then they can't really just knock it off what is being paid to you, as in their eyes he doesn't owe anything.

There is an offsetting process that can be followed, if both parties are earning and have assessments in place.

hi yes i'm aware of the offsetting process. And he hasnt had a nil assessment just one considerably lower than mine!

i dont see why he should have the debt he is accruing bumped off my arrears. I'm paying that plus maintenance, what i want is what he should pay me deducting from my monthly payments. Not the CSA letting him run up a huge debt then "forgetting" about it once i have finished paying all my dues. He has consistently never paid, they've offset once i am not willing to let him amass a debt and do it again. They just send him letters saying you owe money and he ignores them. My view is they should deduct it automatically from my monthly payments after it is only 10% of what i have to pay him........

and as for the lifestyle issue i've given them so much data, info and details yet all they do is pass the whole lot on to him to look at, (probably laugh at) and deny.
