Thank you also Wilding_Arms.
Think I will try the lemon recipe instead of the one I already have and currently don't have all the ingredients for the chocolate.
(now just need to get this done before OH gets home so he isn't aware of whats in it.);)MFI3 T3 # 750 -
Great culinary discoveries come from weird ingredients.
Make your cake with the olive oil, it may be lovely. If not, sling it on the bin and learn the lesson.0 -
Don't sling it in the bin!!! Do as all great experimenters do........pour custard over it and pretend it is meant to be a dessert. And if the taste is too strong, slice it up and use it in something like a tiramisu that has strong flavours.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Lots of oil is needed to make a fluffy muffin. But if you dont mind more cripsy, substitute with milk. Making sure you get consistancy right.0 -

Unfortunately it's the extra virgin. I'll have a look at getting a small bottle tomorrow. (all because i've got too many courgettes and thought i'd make a lemon courgette and chocolate courgette cake.)
I need the recipe for the lemon courgette cake and the choc courgette one as well, please!!:j0 -
Aha!! That three to two thing is what caught me out when I last tried substituting oil. One to remember.
