PUK Code

Here goes I have given my brother my old nokia phone.I removed the sim card and gave him a new sim card from the o2 website.The phone is unlocked and worked fine with my o2 sim card. He has managed to get the phone working but whilst fiddling with some setting or other when you turn the phone on it now says PUK Code error.

Does anyone know what the PUK Code is?
If so where can i get it?
Is it a network code?

As I said before the phone was working fine with my o2 sim card but now wont work with a different o2 sim card.

If the phone was registered to you, call O2 and ask for the PUK code, they will give it to you and it should unlock.

Thanks for all your help I went to the website and got the PUK code from there and the phone is now working.
