In need of guidance for my holiday on money

Hi I'm new on here and it's my first post as well.

I'm in need of guidance for taking money on holiday.

So we are booked to go to Disneyland Florida (all the necessities are done apart from the money side) at the end of July and it's been a long time since I last done an exchange on sterling to another currency, so I'm very rusty lol (around 10 years ago or so I last done an exchange when I was in 6th form and was going to Disneyland Paris).

So with the rates at the moment am I getting more out of my exchange from sterling to us dollars and also what is best to take to Florida a top up card (known as the passport top up) or us dollars and travelers cheques, as researching all this on the interenet and don't seem to be getting anywhere with it.

If anyone has very sound and helpful advice it will be very helpful.

This is a good source for travel money although I don't know if you'd be able to get hold of one of the best credit cards in time for your trip at the end of July. I've never used a prepaid card.
My preference is for one of the 'best' credit cards, with about $100 in cash. I've not used (or seen !) TC's in America for many years .
The exchange rate goes up and down (as you know). I'm happy if its $1.50 to the pound and its currently a tadge over that, so happy times.

Actually, as I'm sure you realise, you are booked to go to Walt Disney World in Florida. Disneyland is in Anaheim, California
They tend to get a bit irritated if you call it Disneyland while you are in Walt Disney World.
