Selling leasehold flat, freehold company in liquidation

I have a leasehold flat that I want to sell. The freehold company has gone into liquidation in Jun 2012 and the company is now registered under a insolvency practitioner. I have checked the house sale in the block, there were 2 flats that were sold in both Oct and Dec 2012, after the freehold company has gone into liquidation. My questions are:
1) Will the liquidation affect me selling the flat in any way?
2) If the buyer needs a mortgage to buy the flat, will the liquidation affect the buyer from getting a mortgage?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To an extent as the IP will not always have the records to answer a buyers questions such as old expenditure accounts copies of insurance and proposals for future work etc.
Otherwise they should discharge all the usual duties of a landlord until it is sold.
Contact the IP to see if they have this info and check your own files.Stop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.
