Signature Envy

Comments

  • I get signature envy sometimes, but I would never think anything nasty of the person. I just think I would have liked that.

My signature very rarely changes nowadays, but Im not winning anything of late. So Im looking in awe at other people and hoping it will be my turn again soon. Then I think about my signature and the wins not mentioned on there then Im happy with my comping progress so far.
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:

It was a joke, I haven't really won one. I just thought I'd dream up the worst prizes ever. I have actually had a few better prizes than that. My best prize ever (before I joined MSE this) was an all expenses paid trip to Ukraine / Poland to see the Euro 2012 Final. It was 5* treatment all the way and didn't have to spend 1 penny, literally everything was catered for. We were flown here, there, everywhere and went to these amazing posh restaurants that had 8ft tall security guards. On the day of the final we were in the VIP area where there were famous people. I even let Peter Schmeichel have his photo taken with me and I gave Roy Keane the 'V' sign (before I ran off). I got to take a mate with me too. All in all I guesstimate it was worth around £5K each - seriously it was amazing - it was like being a film star for 3 / 4 days we were that stupidly looked after.

*Oh and I forgot, me and my mate were interviewed for Polish TV, both wearing our Man City shirts!!! Awesome

Can I ask MB, how far away from Keane were you when you did that? :rotfl:And how much did Schmichel pay for the photo privilege? :rotfl:

Getting back to the original OP. All my wins are the all the top prizes I have won from around November 2008 to May 2013 (2010 was my best year for winning so far). I have won other stuff, but I tell everybody in the monthly win thread about those smaller wins and put the big stuff as my sig because it serves as a bit of motivation and inspiration ('cos we all need it ;)) for me and hopefully others who haven't won big or are just starting out.
This forum set me off with my comping hobby, and seeing posters telling everybody about their wins sort of spurred me to do it, and I have been lucky enough to win some fabulous stuff. It's the best hobby ever.

    Be Lucky :j
BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j

We were about 15 yards, We 'V'd' and ran. Think we'd had too much free lager.
    Ok, Peter S....
I walked up to him and said 'Mind if I have my photo taken with you Peter?'
He replied laughing '**** off if you're wearing that (Man City) shirt'
I replied '**** off yourself, you played for us for one season and you were brilliant. I remember you celebrating like mad in the Manchester derby' (We won it 3-1 IIRC)
He laughed and I had my photo taken. We then had a chat about football, the final and (in his words) how 'Manchester City had treated his son like ****'
He was (is) a good bloke - huge too
