I miss it too, I loved starting a new month and putting the first win in there, was great motivation to carry on. I think people have been put off since some people were on the end of some not so nice comments/messages.
I wouldn't say I would get envy as such, would often think my signature could look like that if I put the hours in
Comping wishlist for 2017

I never post what I've won because it wouldn't fill up the space. I prefer to go for something funny or ant-men :rotfl:0

Haha - I love it. It's the first win I like to put. But then, I love seeing people when they cross each bit off their most wanted wins!
I love the 'I could have said could of, but I would have been wrong'
"Best wins so far: A ball of string; tin of cat food; tickets to a rained off cricket match; packet of out-dated tomato seeds; a hoe (x 10); autographed cleaning cloth" - Who was the cleaning cloth autographed by?!!! And don't knock the ball of string! It's useful measuring tool for seeing how long it will be until that ITV win comes along :P
Awh no - It makes me get back into comping. I come here every so often on a break and think ahh so happy!
If people want to be mean, let them. It's for you to rise above and realise they are just silly people who could in fact win as much if they put the same amount of effort into entering as they do being mean. That's all I think
December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -
It was a joke, I haven't really won one. I just thought I'd dream up the worst prizes ever. I have actually had a few better prizes than that. My best prize ever (before I joined MSE this) was an all expenses paid trip to Ukraine / Poland to see the Euro 2012 Final. It was 5* treatment all the way and didn't have to spend 1 penny, literally everything was catered for. We were flown here, there, everywhere and went to these amazing posh restaurants that had 8ft tall security guards. On the day of the final we were in the VIP area where there were famous people. I even let Peter Schmeichel have his photo taken with me and I gave Roy Keane the 'V' sign (before I ran off). I got to take a mate with me too. All in all I guesstimate it was worth around £5K each - seriously it was amazing - it was like being a film star for 3 / 4 days we were that stupidly looked after."Best wins so far: A ball of string; tin of cat food; tickets to a rained off cricket match; packet of out-dated tomato seeds; a hoe (x 10); autographed cleaning cloth"
*Oh and I forgot, me and my mate were interviewed for Polish TV, both wearing our Man City shirts!!! AwesomeUEFA: Corrupting Football Since 1954 #CTID0 -
i was thinking you were being sarcastic about the best wins, but they were real prizes - I mean... An autographed cleaning cloth signed by I dunno, the queen would be like 'woah'
Now that is a seriously good win! :ODecember Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -
