Recently lost my iPhone 5 at a festival. no luck at lost property and my mobile provider wont give me a new 1 as silly me didn't have insurance.
I dont have the funds to fork out for a new iphone so my question is:
for roughly around £150, what is the best all rounder phone to get??
(im not a big gamer on phones FYI)

Don't shoot me down in flames, but do consider the Nokia Lumia 520/620.
Since you are not a gamer, there are a couple of really decent advantages to the Lumia range of Windows handsets.
1. Nokia maps/ Sat Nav. I have tried Android Sat Nav apps. The Nokia maps are instant, just like a Tom Tom, and they don't eat your data. In fact, they worked in Antigua when I had data off.
2. Excellent speed camera app as well, if you don't want the Nokia Drive one.
3. Great std camera app. It comes with a 5 best shot burst and you can erase objects you don't want in the shot and, best of all, if you take a group photo, for each subject, you can choose which of the 5 shots is best and use that head shot in the final version. So, to be clear, you can use person 1's shot from photo 3, person 2 from photo 4 person 3 from photo 1 etc and get the best photo.
4. Battery life is far better than Androids. I can get 3 days.
I know there are fewer apps with Windows 8 and you tend to use Sky Drive/Outlook rather than Google Drive/ Gmail as standard, but I have Gmail linked to my Outlook mailbox and also use Google Drive and Dropbox.
So, do give them a try in CPW/O2 shop before deciding.0
