Vodafone are crap.

Two months ago I sent in my blackberry to be repaired by Vodafone.When I received my phone back it was like a completely different phone. My screen hasn't been fitted properly, my casing surrounding my phone had been snapped and most of my buttons won't press down, but worst of all I sent my phone in fully functioning(except for the trackpad) and it had come back not able not turn on. Of course I had to take action so I complained to Vodafone asking if they could do anything to help, and after a long time asking they finally said they would take it back and fix it, this I was quite pleased with. To my astonishment when I went to collect my phone it was in the exact same state, so yet again I consulted vodafone. Vodaphone said that they would compensate me with a month of my contract free, but yet agin vodafone have failed in not giving me my two months contract free fee and i have waited over two months to pay for something that i no longer want. I would most definitely not recommend vodafone to anyone and I will definitely be cancelling my contract as soon as it ends, and informing my family who are all on Vodafone to cancel their contracts when they end. I hope vodafone are pleased with what they have done.

    When you complained did you speak to a manager or an advisor? Did you accept their response as final or did you say no? You don't have to accept the answer of your network if you've been sent a phone that doesn't work as a replacement. There are higher levels you can go and third party support you can get.
    Pursuading your entire family to leave a network due to one hiccup may turn out worse too... You could all end up moving somewhere worse... Not that I'm suggesting you all stay but I would always go for the best price/value when I am ready for my upgrade.
