    I read that tread and think I have done as it recommended.

    oh does none broadcasting mean that some has withheld the connection name ?

    AS yet I havent been able to find an option to connect to non broadcasting - can anyone point me to it ?

    problem still now it says 'A network called mylan already exists'

    If I sellect 'use the existing network' mylan isnt listed to connect to

    the only other option seems to be 'Choose a Different name' which returns u to the setup page

    I think I ahve done it I removed the network and added it again and now I seem to be connected...Thanks again for all your help your a star Albertross

    ONe last thing I have now managed to connect on both laptops but

    1 has mylan as a (Private Network)
    Access Local Only

    The other laptop

    has mylan (Public Network)
    Access Local and Internet

    Shouldn't they both be the same ?
