I believe so. I reckon I have saved over £1000 thanks to this site and it's ethos. (Not including the bank charges I am in the process of reclaiming ;) ).
Sorry to post on grabbit but I think this has the biggest audience.

That may be true, but perhaps thats the only way people have of saying thanks (not necessarily for that particular item). Its not as though they can send him a text.

everyone seems to gets a honour these days - can't see the point in them myself. Martin does a great job though.
  • It is, I think, a tradition that an out going Prime Minister gives peerages, knighthoods and other honours as they leave Downing Street. Perhaps we should set up a Number 10 Petition to ask Tony Blair reward Martin for all his years of consumer campaiging. However, what do you suggest as a reward and title; Lord Lewis of Internet or just Sir Martin Lewis?

There's no doubt that Martin has saved people's lives as well as their pockets. He probably has no idea of just how many lives he's touched - it would be nice to have that recognised with a knighthood!

I agree, I think Martin should be recognised for the contribution he has made to the UK.

Some of the people who have had honours inall fairness have not done a great deal for the general public of the UK. the likes of footballers really jacks me off when they get a knighthood.

Quite nice food I heard at the palace when getting knighted ;) and free too  my mates mum got a honour a few years back :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
