Anyone else have this problem? It happens quite frequently to me on my ipad . I then get told wrong name/password and used up 5/5 attempts & may have only tried once or twice. I then get locked out for 15 mins and sometimes have to wait until a few hours later when I get on straight away. All cookies are cleared & upto date. Annoying !!

When you log in, are you ticking the box to keep you logged in?

Regarding the incorrect password (and assuming it's not you inputting it incorrectly), perhaps someone else is attempting to hack your user account? :eek:

Change your password frequently and choose a difficult password to guess.

Thanks but have done all that. Requested password again and now changed it. If I tick remember me, if never let's me in! Lol

Your last logged in user ID and password hash allowing the "remember me" option to work are stored in cookies. So if that is playing up, first thing to do would be to make sure that you clear all cookies for forums.moneysavingexpert.com. i.e. get rid of any one ones with a wrong user/password or session hash that may be causing problems.

Then make sure that cookie settings are set so that they are kept between sessions and are not cleared automatically, so anything new you now enter is kept.
