Not through barratt, but when I bought a new house a few years back, they wanted a small fortune to install a shower over the bath. We got it done for 10% of the cost (plus some nectar points) once we'd moved in.

Thanks guys, it's what i thought but i was falling for the seduction of the idea of having it all done when we moved in. It's stupid to waste money though.

    Hi

Bought a new home from barrats a year ago this month.

We had our kitchen lights recessed in the ceiling at 50 per light and a shower installed instead of the standard bath in the family bathroom and that was 900.

Admit may have been able to get this cheaper but easier to do before its built than have someone come in and trash your house later.

Also had amtico flooring in kitchen and bathrooms think that was around 1500.

Shopped around for this and found barrats significantly cheaper.

    Good luck!
