Good to hear you're all nice & neat & tidy, dustycyclingyorkie wrote: »OH came back from work last night with a detailed chart showing how many jobs in each section will go and how many will remain - over half in his area are for the chop......
Another chart detailed top bods already confirmed as staying. One management post brings with it 3 chauffeurs and a butler - this is NOT going down well amongst OH and his colleagues.....
 Does it also included a magician so he/she can be in 3 places at once?:mad: Outrageous. No wonder the 'normal people' are not happy.
So far today I've put the WM on, slurped a coffee and ordered 3 books and a subscription for work. Time for a spot of breakfast. Then I must email my sis, get the late June/early July cards ready, strip my bed, strip DS's bed, throw away some dead shoes & finish sorting the hall.
ETA: great news helen jellyContinuing hugs for skinty & DD ((HUGS)) Healing vibes for mrs m-p's toe x

I think the theory is that once he's drunk all the champagne poured by the butler he'll need a chauffeur! And 3 chauffeurs covers them having time off!
Seriously they've now got a large (and growing) syndicate for the Euromillions! NOBODY wants to stay!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Well I have a severe case of CBA today.. my legs hurt from constant cramp as well as my other painful issues. I am starving.. I went to bed last night to avoid stuffing my face again.. Why is it so hard to stop yourself from eating everything not nailed down?
2 tiddlies being gremlinous today.. they are tired and spent the last 2.5 hours wailing and squawking.
I've filled a carrier of rubbish and binned that.. almost killed myself while his laziness stood and watched.. it is either entertaining watching me struggle to pick up crap or it is a spectator sport.. not sure which.

well thats weird but could explain things.
went hairdressers this morning as planned, when dye started being put on i felt 'tingly' and not right. about half way through had to say something as it was getting quite itchy. same stuff as always being used so quick zap under a heater to speed it up and get it off. mentioned to hairdresser after she asked if anything was different. id got a rash on my knee for a couple of weeks weird little blistery things that itch like heck and ouze (not a pretty image) any how thats on the leg i did the toe on when i fell upstairs. and last couple of nights and days leg has been achy and feels dead but i put that down to walking funny because of toe.
hairdresser and another customer have looked at my rash and decided they are 98% sure i have shingles!! ive done as im told and rung receptionist and am awaiting call back from duty doc.
sitting here now not knowing if to itch my head or my knee. also hoping dr rings before i go to work as imk hoping if not got anything contagous that stops me being near kids (ones at school mine will have to put up with me)
CY i hope the syndicate at your DH work wins big time so they can all walk out enmass (obviously ones in line for money should sit it out just to make sure they get it) cant believe the crassness of keeping overpaid and pampered 'higher ups' on with those sort of perks and putting real hard working peoples jobs in peril
bossy lovely photo of your DSSPC~12 ot 124

Well if it is shingles it is contagious until all the blisters are scabbed... you cannot give people shingles from it.. it being the same virus.. but you can set them off with chickenpox.. supposedly.. tbh I don't know of anyone who has caught anything from someone with shingles.
So yes it is contagious if that is confirmed what it is so you'll be at home at least a week... really you should avoid work until it is confirmed one way or the other.. chickenpox can be very dangerous for children with lowered immunity or other illnesses.. diabetes for example.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
i showed it to the drs as an extra when i went a couple of weeks ago, they said then it didnt look too sinister but to keep an eye on it. in fairness i was blaming it on my epilator an said i thought it was from ingrown hair it looks much worse now and is blistery instead of just being bumpy under the skin like it was then.SPC~12 ot 124

It might have started off as epilator rash .. shingles is a reactivation of the virus which lies dormant on nerve endings and triggered by goodness knows what so it might just be you are a bit under par and the already irritated nerves has thrown this at you.. because obviously that is going to make you feel oh so much better .. silly bodies!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Chickenpox can cause trouble for pregnant women ... but I've never known anyone catch it from shingles..... my late m-I-l had shingles and I didn't get chicken pox - I caught it later, when pregnant (that wasn't fun) from a child I shared a car with:-
'I shouldn't have brought X - he's got a spot already' said the mother....
'I've never had chicken pox.....' said I !!!
Cue silence.......
And then a certain amount of time later........:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Bathrooms upstairs done.
DD sent to bed for screaming. She has come back down now on the proviso that it stops. She's also had her face paint washed off. Naughty mummy.
They are pestering me for food already... Sausages already cooked so I guess that's what's for lunch.
Washing hung on airers and towels now in. Haven't cleaned bath as I lifted everything into it including kids toys stuck to walls as I wanted to wipe down all the tiles.
Serendipity that HH paperwork is on today's listBossymoo
