Question about phone account & direct debit

Hi.

I have a second phone line in the form of Orange. My question is about the account side of things and the billing.

Can one change or transfer the "name" of the phone to another person and also with the monthly direct debit?

Please advice. Thanks.

Bank account no problem but name and liability for the account require the blessing of the network and is subject to a credit check

But will any network generally allow changing of a contract's name & liability? Is it a long process?

The only network I'm aware of the will allow a transfer of ownership is Orange.

But as above, the person you're transferring the acc to will have to be able to pass a full credit check.

No, it's not long, but you have to contact the network together.

I think all networks do this. Vodafone certainly do.

I would imagine so, however it may be easier to just phone Orange and get the information from the horses mouth.
